Frequently Asked Questions

How much are your notary services?

We charge a different rate for each service, competitive with the market. To get an exact quote for your service needs, feel free to call or text us anytime.

What major cities do you provide mobile notary services to?

We provide mobile notary services for cities in Cook and DuPage counties.

What do I need to bring to the signing appointment?

All signers must be present and provide a valid government-issued photo ID and the required documents that need to be notarized.

What is an Apostille, and do I need one?

An Apostille is an international certification that makes your document valid in any country that is part of the Hague Convention. If your document is going overseas, chances are you'll need an Apostille or legalization depending on the destination country.

What is the difference between Apostille and legalization?

Apostille: For Hague Convention countries.

Legalization: For non-Hague countries that require additional authentication steps through embassies or consulates.

We handle both, so you don't have to worry about the details.

Do you provide a witness if I need one?

Yes. There is a $20 charge for each witness we provide. However, if you have your own witness(es), be sure they are 18 years old or over with a valid government-issued photo ID. They must be of sound mind and able to comprehend the act of witnessing. They must be a neutral third party, not a close family member, agent, spouse or someone who could benefit from the document. They cannot have any interest in the document or transaction, such as being a beneficiary in a will or a party to a contract nor be related to the beneficiary in any capacity. They must be physically present to witness the signer's act of signing.
